About the Audi Environmental Foundation Scholarship

The Audi Environmental Foundation actively supports research into new scientific technologies and methods for a livable future. Its stated aim is to contribute to environmental protection and to create and promote ways of behaving sustainably.

The Foundation places special emphasis on promoting and developing environmentally compatible technologies, environmental education measures, and protecting the natural necessities of life for humans, animals and plants. It was established in 2009 by AUDI AG as a 100 percent subsidiary and is part of the company's social and environmental commitment.

Resource scarcity, environmental devastation, climate change, population growth – these are just a few aspects that impact society, politics and business. With the constant change in social values, for an increasing number of people, sustainability has become part of their outlook on life. The challenges facing us are becoming more complex. Only by working with partners can we develop good concepts and sound solutions to successfully address these challenges.

The Audi Environmental Foundation is collaborating with One Young World to offer scholarships to 15 inspiring young leaders to attend this year's One Young World Summit 2024 in Montreal (Tiohtià:ke), Canada.

This scholarship is for young leaders who are driving change and tackling the climate crisis through innovative new technologies, developing climate education, or preserving ecosystems by halting or reversing land degradation.

Finance

Upon admission to the Audi Environmental Foundation 2024, you will receive the following benefits:

Arriving at the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montreal, Canada.
Hotel accommodation in Montreal between 16 - 21 (inclusive) September 2024.
Participation in the pre-event of Audi AG and the Audi Environmental Foundation on September 17, 2024.
Please note that the ability to participate in the pre-event is a criterion for acceptance of a scholarship place.
Cost of travel to and from Montreal (economy class flights).
Catering includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Transportation between the summit venue and the summit venue.

Acceptance criteria

The criteria for admission to the Audi Environmental Foundation 2024 are:
